Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a fantastic view of Mount Fuji right on the lake, making it perfect for a short stay in Kawaguchiko. The rooms, though clean, were in need of an upgrade and a bit dusty in places. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff offering rides and assistance. The traditional Japanese dining experience was charming, and the facilities were decent for a comfortable stay.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were charming and clean, but unfortunately, they were very run down and had a partial view of Mt. Fuji. Despite requesting a non-smoking room, there was a lingering smell of stale smoke. On the bright side, everything seemed clean and in good condition overall.
The hotel offers a commanding view of the surroundings and has spacious rooms with a stunning lake view. Although the character is amazing, some major repairs are needed to address old dirty carpets and mold issues, which would elevate it to a top hotel status.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel with its amazing lake view room, excellent service, and great location. The room could use some updates but was still wonderful, and the dining experience was top-notch. The facilities were impressive, and the price was worth it for the overall experience.
The hotel offers nice and large Japanese-style rooms that are clean, but they are extremely outdated and in need of an upgrade. The service was delightful, with the staff compensating us and even helping with a fever. The location is amazing, with good views over the lake and close to shops. The dining experience was incredible with a good variety, although a bit slow. Overall, a great experience with room for improvement.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though a bit old, provide a good lake view facing both Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, complete with toilet and bath facilities. The service is exceptionally pleasant and friendly, with an attentive staff, but there was a minor issue with the check-in timing confusion. The location is peaceful, allowing luggage storage before check-in, situated on the serene side of Lake Kawaguchi with convenient transportation access. The dining experience was delightful, offering a mix of traditional and modern cuisine, not overcrowded with tourists during my stay. Overall, a cozy stay with some minor room for improvement in certain areas.
